2015-What a year!

Get_Results.jpegThis has been one of the quieter weeks of 2015.  Phones aren't ringing and emails are not flying at their normal daily rate!  This has given me time to think about the year (as many of us do at this time!)  I am thankful for so many things that we experienced and learned over the year. 

Year 2 of Katie Coombs, Director of Awesome, working with Mom and Dad. We have Katie.jpgwatched her grow as a talented marketer, with an eye for design, a HubSpot power user, and a great Inbound Marketer.  She has figured out how to maneuver the all powerful OZ of software to make it sing for our clients and for us!  She's now working on version 2 of "this" generation of Coombs Marketing's website!  (Some of you might remember other versions of Coombs Marketing websites, since our first one in 1997. Yes, we had a website before Google did!)

The year has brought a new group of clients that we really appreciate working with. Most are in Rochester, NY, so the road between Charlotte and Rochester is well-worn at this point. Our goal was to always be providing value and be helpful. We had many wins, but some losses as well. The good news is that we hit our "sweet-spot" a lot more than we missed. That's rewarding!

This year brought results:

  • Inbound Marketing retainers for 5 new clients! We grew our revenue over 88% this year!
  • Record-breaking traffic to a client's site in the first 4 months
  • Increased a client's leads from 2 leads per month to 25 leads per month in the first 2 months after launching a redesigned, lead capturing website
  • Produced selling videos for the Lowes and Home Depot websites.
  • Produced a video for a HubSpot Partner Agency
  • A new identity for a home builder
  • Lots of videos for a building supply manufacturer 
  • LinkedIn prospecting and training, and strategic social media  
  • Created and played a part in creating 5 new websites  
  • Wrote a LOT of blogs and social media posts
  • Conducted marketing/business strategy sessions
  • Rebranded multiple clients
  • Created an app and sell sheets to gain business for a client
  • And most important, proved to ourselves that the Inbound Marketing Methodology works!  We were our own case study! And our clients are seeing similar success. 

That makes it a great year. We look forward to getting even better results in 2016.
