Why Inbound marketing is already essential for sales

Inbound marketing is about sales results and online lead generation, not vanity metrics.

The digital world is full of examples of new products, software, or methodology, improving and disrupting  the “old” product or method.

And often, at first, to the less digitally savvy or more entrenched pro, it is a quiet threat. The "new" generates a backlash of subconscious fear.  The otherwise smart old guard chooses to ignore it, confuse it, delay it. Or claim they already do it and don’t need it.  If the boss doesn't ask for it, we don't need it. But sooner or later...

Today, that threat/opportunity is inbound marketing.

Companies that have embraced “inbound” are winning.  In a few years getting and closing online leads with inbound marketing will look like common sense… essential, measurable, effective. The marketing and sales managers who implemented first will be successful because it works for lead gen, sales, and results.

The online tools and techniques that big global brands have used (at big expense!) for years... are now, proven, simplified, and above all affordable for small and medium sized business.  You can do this.

Inbound marketing is finding and selling to the right person.
